The Way Home

Chapter 1
The Truth

Our story starts one stormy night with Wild Fire, a red pinto mare,Bella, a chestnut filly, and Wings, a silvery black colt,huddled in a clump under some trees.Wild Fire is nervous and Bella and Wings sense something is wrong.

Wild Fire jerks her head up,and as she searches through the dark downpour she sees it. The eyes, the eyes of the Marwolves,the biggest wolves alive.Trying to stay calm she starts to tell Bella and Wings to run but before even one word was out her mouth a wolf pounced on her. As she try's to buck him of she yells "WINGS, GO HOME!" "This is my home!" screamed Wings. "No it isn't I'm not your real mom.Your parents were killed in battle and now it's up to YOU to safe the herd before it's too late! Take Bella and run NOW!" So they ran until the forest grew still. They layed down in the bushes to exhausted to talk but before Wings fell asleep he thought
"I'm an orphon, I am an orphon."

WINTER JAM

This weekend I went to Winter Jam.
It was lots of fun!

They were really good.
Everyone was wearing Hawk Nelson shirts.

was very good.
They sang a lot.
It was there concert, so why shouldn't they.

Toby went out it the crowd and someone got him in their faces.
I was like, horsefeathers why didn't we sit over there!

That was the best concert (and the only real concert) I have ever been to.
I can't wait till next year!

Meow

Guess what! We have a CAT! It came into our yard and Stranger, our dog, attacked it. Well, mom felt sorry for it (she also thought it was cute) so she let it in, and it has been here ever since. Mom said that if it isn't someone else's, and if we take care of it, we can keep it. I named her Willow but then I changed it to Meadow. She is a grey-striped cat. She is really nice but doesn't like being held all the time. She has been here a total of two days and I already love her.

50 Bugs

I finely collected 50 bugs!(Amazing huh?) I am so relived that

I don't ever have to kill a butterfly again.

My favorite bug of all has to be the Luna Moth.
We caught it about three years ago at gymnastics.
We kept it for a while and then we brought it to Florida.
Sometime in between this it had laid eggs.
It soon died leaving eggs in Tennessee and in Florida.
We left its body in the hands of our friend,s Casey and Chloe.
The eggs all hatched in Florida but not here.
( What's with that!)
And when we told them that we needed bugs, well,
they sent back the Luna Moth.
I'm so glad that I have friends like them.

poem

A while ago I wrote a poem.
I showed it to mom and she typed, framed, and decorated it.
It was called
Snowflake Ballet.
This is how it went.

Snowflake Ballet

Snowflakes fly
Snowflakes play
Snowflakes dance a snow ballet.
With dresses of ice
And shoes of glass
They twirl, thy flutter,
The dance all day.

and most importantly,
I can find stuff.
I love it.
I think that Kenzie (my niece) does to.

It's a LITTLE messier now than it was then BUT it definitely helps!
It is so easy to find stuff now.
