I finished the 1st-7th chapters of my story!

Chapter 1

“Erulassë Erulassë!” Alassëa cried.

“What is it now?” teased Erulassë.

“Stop it! You're making me sound as if I’m making a big deal out of nothing! But really something did happen! We just got news that the dwarves were attacked!”

Erulassë leaped to her feet and started running to the heart of Comlonron, the elves city. Comlonron was near the sea and was surrounded by a confusing maze of trees, but Erulassë knew its twists and turns like the back of her hand. Alassëa hurried to catch up with her.

“They were attacked by the Urulas. They had to evacuate all the tunnels and get all the women and children out, and now they’re marching here.” Erulassë ran faster. Finally they reached the gate leading into Queen Adrina’s court room. Erulassë burst through the door, scaring many of the elves standing in the room.

Erulassë ignored their disapproving faces and walked straight up to Queen Adrina. “What happened? Pardon me for my hastiness!” apologized Erulassë.

“The dwarve’s city of Tirnagin was attacked by Urulas this morning and they are sending all 50,000 dwarf women, children, and infirmed here,” stated Queen Adrina.

The council gasped, “But where will we put them?” exclaimed a silver-haired elf.

“I do not know, but we will help our dwarf neighbors. Now leave I must think about this in peace!” snapped Queen Adrina. The council departed--all but Erulassë. “What do you want? I thought I told you to leave!”

Erulassë stepped forward and stated simply, “I know where we can put them. We can put them in the sacred wood.”

The Queen gasped, “Never! Never shall anyone but the priests go to the sacred wood! Now depart from my presence you insolent young elf!”

“It could have worked “said Erulassë and walked out the door.

“That was a bad move Erulassë! You know how we feel about the sacred woods! Especially Queen Adrina after losing her dragon to them!” exclaimed Alassëa.

“It’s the only way we can help them. You know it too!” cried Erulassë who then turned and ran into the forest. Alassëa knew that she wouldn’t be able to find her because of the vastness of Comlonron. She also knew that she was probably heading to the sacred wood.

CHAPTER 2

"Why won't she listen to me? She won't even listen to her daughter who's been gone for six years ever since she lost her dragon! But I know he's not coming back!" When Erulassë reached the sacred wood she stopped and looked over her shoulder before saying "Mec vor ic lay Erulassë"("I am your friend Erulassë" in elvish), and a dragon stepped out of the gloom.

"Calem" (Come) the dragon said. As Erulassë slipped into the cool darkness, the barriers of her mind fell away, and she felt relaxed for the first time since Alassëa told her the news. Vaguely she heard a pleading voice asking her to stop, but she pushed the voice away and disappeared into the gloom.

"Today is a special day for today I will give you the most precious thing I can give you," said the dragon who then stepped aside relieving a dragon egg.

"I'm, I'm a Rider? gasped Erulassë.

"Only if the egg will hatch, but first let my ask you a question. Are you willing to take up the responsibility of being a Rider?"

Erulassë hesitated. "The Queen will hate me for this, won't she?" The dragon nodded. Erulassë bowed her head, then said, "I do!" and reached out for the egg. A thin line rippled across the surface of the egg and "Plop!" the egg fell apart relieving an orangy-gold dragon hatchling.

CHAPTER 3

"Hello my Rider."

"Hello Linerae."

"How did you come up with a name for me so soon?"
chuckled the dragon.

"I've thought about it for a long time,"
responded Erulassë. Erulassë took a closer look at the dragon. She had an orangey-gold color and auburn penetrating eyes. She was no taller than her waist and appeared to be waiting for something. Tarnac (the other dragon) bounded into the clearing.

"The Queen saw that flash, and she's sending soldiers here now! You must hide!" Erulassë looked at Linerae and smiled.

"Let's go!" They took off through the forest just before the Queen's men stumbled into the clearing.

"I'll distract them! Go to the Turnic Tower; you'll be safe there! Now go!" said Tarnac. Then he took off.

"Come on, we have to move!" Erulassë and Linerae ran as one through the forest, not stopping for anything. They could hear shouting behind them, always there, then silence.

"A DRAGON!" exclaimed one of the soldiers. Erulassë stopped.

"Oh no! They have Tarnac!" she turned to run back, but Linerae tackled her.

"NO WE HAVE TO GO!" growled Linerae.

"Fine!" she said. When the got to the tower, it was dusk. "I'm going to sneak into the city and get my stuff. Just stay here okay?" Then Erulassë disappeared into the night.

I'm going to stop using the odd e cause it's a pain.

CHAPTER 4

Erulassë glided through the forest, silent as a shadow. When she reached her house, she peered through the trees, then lightly ran into the house. Hurriedly, she grabbed her backpack, bow, arrows, sword, and a stone in the shape of a dragon that Alassea had given her. The door creaked, and Erulasse tensed.

"Erulasse! Are you here?" whispered Alassea. Erulasse knew she couldn't get past her, so she answered instead.

"Yes, but you must not come! A dragon hatched for me and I have to leave before the Queen does something to us!

Alassea stepped closer. "I'm your best friend, and you're NOT leaving me behind!"

Erulasse sighed, "Come on then." When they made it back to the Turnic Tower, Linerae was waiting for them. "This is Alassea and she's coming with us." said Erulasse.

"Okay, but I just found out that there's another egg, and we have to get it before the Queen!" They ran to a clearing not far away where the eggs were kept. There the egg was. It was green with a few specks of silver. Alassea reached out to grab the egg, and as she touched it, the egg cracked and a green dragon emerged.

Chapter 5

Alassae reached her hand out timidly toward the dragon. When they touched, a flash lit up the whole forest. The Elhorn shone on her forehead. “Oh no! Now they know exactly where we are!” exclaimed Erulassë.

Hello Alassëa.

Hello Linerac.” Alassëa smiled.

“Hurry up, the Queen’s men are almost here!” hissed Erulassë. Alassëa turned to follow when “CRASH!” The Queen’s men came into the clearing.

“Finally, we catch the fugitives. You’ve caused us much trouble missies. Men, surround them!” barked a gargantuan man at their head. Erulassë stepped in front of Alassëa, Linerae, and Linerac.

“I don’t think so! Cornim lin ach!”(spell) Light emitted from her forehead, and Linerae stepped forward. She growled deeply and all the men fell on their faces.

“Hurry! This will only last for ten minutes at the most!” said Erulassë as she turned to face them.

“How, How did you do that?” stuttered Alassëa.

“Not now! We have to get out of here!” They fled into the forest. After about five minutes, Erulassë let out a high-pitched whistle. Immediately, two unicorns stepped out of the trees. They were tall, but looked nothing alike. One was honey-colored with a pink muzzle and eyes, a golden horn with a slight pink tinge to the top, and pink highlights in her mane and tail while the other was black with highlights in his mane and tail, a blue stripe down his back, and a multi-colored horn. “This is Morcan,” she said, indicating to the black. “And this is Lineral. Alassëa, you take Morcan and I have Lineral.” Erulassë leaped onto Lineral and took the lead. Alassëa hurried to catch up with her.

“How did you do that back there and I thought unicorns were non-existent in Comlonron?”

“They are, but a few are still left. Back there, well, Tarnac had been teaching me magic. He must have known this would happen eventually and now he’s gone!” She sobbed.

Chapter 6

Alassëa stared at her. “You were learning magic whenever you went missing for hours?”

Erulassë nodded.

“Why didn’t you…”

“You wouldn’t have understood! You would have told someone! I wanted to tell you every time I saw you, but I knew that if I told you the Queen would figure it out somehow! Don’t you understand that? I wanted to, but I couldn’t” Erulassë said, tears trickling down her cheeks. Alassëa turned away. Erulassë gave her a mournful glance and rode ahead with Linerae.

“Why can’t I ever be trusted?” Alassëa asked herself.

Maybe you don’t trust yourself.” Linerac said while licking his claw. Alassëa averted his gaze.

“Maybe…but.” She never finished that thought because an Eglion (lion with wings) jumped into their path.

CHAPTER 7

"Where do you think you're going? Not through here I hope," the Eglion said. His voice sounded like the hiss of an enchanted snake, luring you deeper into his mystery.

"Move Dorlicnal! We must pass, and you know what will happen if you don't," Erulassë warned.

"Oh, do I now. Well sure, your highness," he answered sarcastically. He backed away from the path. As Alassea passed, the Eglion hissed.

"Don't think that you'll get out of here that easily." Then he turned and leaped into the forest.

"Erulassëa, what would have happened if he didn't move?"

"I would have had to call the trees to capture him and keep him forever." Alassëa turned to look behind her. Out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw a movement, but when she studied it closer nothing was there.

"Something is watching us," she thought before turning and following Erulassë.

I'M SO HAPPY

My sister, her husband, and her three kids are on their way to Maine and Kenzie, the youngest at five, just called me and told me that she let Jesus into her heart and her tooth is wiggly.
I am so happy that she let Jesus into her heart and glad that the Tooth Fairy is being let into the house again!
Tessa
PS Please pray that my sister and her family get to Maine safe cause their car broke down so they had to rent a car.
Thanks!

Little Bikes, Walls, and TREES!

I had Hannah over last night and we had a photo shoot in the back yard!
We each took turns riding down our "hill" (more like a gradual decline!) on my five year old niece Kenzie's bike.
It was SO funny!

"You better move! I'm coming to get you!"

PEACE!

PEACE again! LOL
Funny times!

My favorite!
Hannah said I look like a teenager, which I am!

I'm not sure how Hannah got this one but I just jumped and she snapped the camera!

Hannah in the Magnolia!

Smile!
Me up in one of our many pine trees!

We got up on the wall and Hannah had a time getting up there! We had to use Kenzie's bike!
Then Hannah posed for me.

This one was posed but it doesn't look like it!

Hannah acting kooky!
I'm hanging from our tree next to the wall!
Don't fall!

I was trying to get Hannah to stop taking pictures but I don't think it worked!

I'm walking down the "runway!"
My bangs kept getting in the way!

Hello, I'm here!

Jump!

Then here comes our tree hugging picture.
This tree needs like three of me to go around it, maybe even four!

True Treehuggers!

Hannah flipped over and she looks kinda like a guy! LOL

After I was finished hanging upside down I flipped over and it looks like I'm trying to kick my camera!

Here's my blurry picture of me on the bench by our humungo tree.
